Over the course of a couple of months, more than a few conversations, the theme of the Armory’s Ray Kass show evolved.  During the semester break, more than 40 works were selected from Ray’s studio and storage facility.  The result, Primary Elements: Foundational Works provides a glimpse of the fundamental language that Kass has developed over five decades.
