Virginia Museum of Natural History and the College of Science at
Virginia Tech.
On the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of
Species Singing Darwin will culminate in a 24-hour live performance
event, beginning at 7:00 PM Nov. 23 (Nov. 24th Greenwich Meridian
Time) and ending at 7:00 PM Nov. 24. The entire text of Origin will be
included in a structured artistic improvisation that includes original
music, audience-participants, imagery, dance, and reading.
Guest Artists include Elise Witt, Celeste Miller, and Virginia Schenck
from Atlanta, GA and many faculty artists at Virginia Tech.
The event will be live and open to the public. It will be webcast
